From May 2026, HMRC are introducing a new legal requirement for firms of tax advisers to register with them and meet minimum standards. This webinar will provide an overview of the changes and help members understand the requirements. The session, hosted jointly by the ATT and CIOT, will cover the registration conditions, possible sanctions for failure to comply or meet ‘minimum standards’ and the practicalities, including transition for existing agents. There will also be a short amount of time to ask questions on the day. As the requirements will apply to all firms that interact with HMRC on behalf of their clients, including those which already have an Agent Services Account, the session is not to be missed!
The session will also be recorded for those unable to join us on the day.
