EU referendum result
Following the news that the UK has voted to leave the European Union I want to reassure our Fellows, Members, Students and Employers that it is ‘business as usual’ for the ATT.
This vote creates a large amount of uncertainty, in tax as elsewhere. Out of the EU we will have more options to vary our tax system so our skills will be in demand more than ever over the coming months and years. We are well prepared to respond to any changes in the tax system so that our exams and CPD remain relevant and give our students and members the most up to date information to be successful in their careers. Our Technical team will continue responding to consultations and helping HMT and HMRC formulate new policy to ensure that the voice of our members is heard as we work towards a tax system that is fair for all.
