Join us for a series of monthly online drop in sessions where you can speak to your peers about tips and practical advice on getting ready for April 2026.
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD) is due to take effect from April 2026, and will represent a fundamental change in how agents interact with their clients and HMRC.
These sessions will be facilitated by members of the ATT’s technical team, but will not be traditional webinars. Instead they are intended to be member-led, serving as an open forum for attendees to share and discuss their practical concerns around MTD and support each other. ATT technical team representatives will be in attendance to help answer practical queries, and to act as a liaison with HMRC for issues which can’t be resolved in the sessions.
Discussion topics will be driven by the attendees’ interests and could include, but are not limited to, issues such as:
- Challenges of getting clients ready
- Resourcing and workflow issues
- Choice of software
- Pricing MTD services
The sessions will be open to all, but are most likely to be of benefit to those in smaller firms. They will be free to attend and hosted via Zoom.
We have initially set up a series of six one hour sessions between 12:00 and 13:00 on the dates below:
- Wednesday 21 May
- Tuesday 17 June
- Wednesday 23 July
- Wednesday 20 August
- Wednesday 17 September
- Tuesday 28 October
Attendees can choose to attend one or multiple sessions as the discussions will vary.
