Support with employee health and disability

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a new interactive tool to help employers and managers better support their employees when it comes to health and disability.   The tool also helps with understanding what an employer’s legal requirements and responsibilities are.

Areas covered by the tool include:

  • Managing staff absences and keeping in touch.
  • Having conversations with employees, both in and out of work.
  • Making changes to help employees stay in, or return to, work.

The tool asks a number of questions, with advice and guidance tailored to the responses given.  No personal information is stored, but you can print and save the information provided.
