New ATT Foundation Qualification in Transfer Pricing

As business becomes more and more international, Transfer Pricing is an area of growing importance.  The ATT’s new Foundation Level Qualification in Transfer Pricing is a convenient way to build your, or your staff’s, expertise in this key area.

Transfer Pricing is one of four Foundation Level Qualifications provided by the ATT in conjunction with Tolley Tax Training (the others being Personal Taxation, Business Taxation and VAT Compliance).   These qualifications, which can all be studied for independently, provide excellent introductory knowledge for those looking to broaden their understanding. They are ideal for those starting out in tax who maybe are not ready for the ATT examinations just yet, or those looking to expand their business skill set with additional and up to date tax knowledge.

A key feature of the Foundation Level Qualifications is that they are completely flexible and delivered entirely online, meaning you can study at a time that suits you.  Exams are also provided online, with no need to book a particular sitting – you simply sit the exams when you are ready.

Each Foundation Qualification is split into four modules (A- D).  You study the module in the manual, use the question bank for practice, and then move on to the online test.  Passing Module A will unlock Module B and so on. Once you have worked through all four modules, passing a final Certificate Exam leads to a Certificate being issued by the ATT.

The Transfer Pricing Foundation Qualification syllabus gives an excellent grounding in the subject.  It starts out exploring key concepts and methods, before moving on to look at specific transactions, common adjustments and issues and compliance.

Full details of our Foundation Qualifications, and how to sign up, can be found on the ATT website.
