Apply for joint ATT/CTA Membership


Members of the CIOT, whether working or retired, are able to join the ATT without the requirement to sit the ATT examinations. You will receive all the benefits of ATT membership for a reduced subscription (see below).

Regardless of whether you have taken or passed ATT examinations, or previously been an ATT member, CTAs—whether working or retired—are eligible to join the ATT.

Apply for membership via the My Account portal (log in required). 
Please note that you do not need to supply details of sponsors with your application, please enter your name in this section.

Entrance fee and annual subscription 2025

There is a one-off entrance fee of £65 for the 2025 subscription year.
  • The ATT subscription fee for CTAs is reduced to £149 for the 2025 subscription year.
  • CTAs applying for joint membership after 1 July are eligible for half year rates.
  • Please do not make payment when submitting your application. Instead, please contact the membership team ([email protected]), who will adjust the fee and provide you with the correct payment details.
  • There are a variety of payment methods:
    • Direct Debit
    • Credit/Debit card
    • Cheque made payable to 'ATT'
