HMRC webinars on 'sanctionable conduct' by tax advisers

HMRC have published a couple of dates for webinars where it will explain it’s strengthened powers to tackle tax advisers who facilitate non-compliance. 

The times and dates of the webinars are: 

13:45 to 14:45 - Wednesday 24 June, and

11:45 to 12:45 - Thursday 9 July 

The webinars will cover the following: 

• what counts as a tax adviser 

• what HMRC mean by sanctionable conduct 

• what happens if HMRC identifies sanctionable behaviour 

• new powers enabling HMRC to publish information about tax advisers
