Welcome from South West England Branch Chair, Ian Birt
I would like to welcome you to the South West England Branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Taxation Technicians.
Our aim is to support all professionals working in tax throughout our region, an area covering the whole of Devon and Cornwall.
Our membership ranges from tax professionals working in large practices to sole practitioners and industry-based experts.
Recognising the diversity of our members and their needs we arrange a wide-ranging program of seminars delivered by experienced and respected speakers. Our seminars are open and friendly with adequate time for members to network before the sessions and during the interval.
The committee looks to represent the membership both to the CIOT & ATT as a whole and to HMRC through the Working Together partnership. New volunteers for the committee are always welcome.
We have, for a number of years, run a quiz night every December to raise money for a local Leukaemia charity. This event has succeeded in raising thousands of pounds for charity as well as providing a fun and challenging evening for members.
