Tax Advisers' Benevolent Fund (TABF) Student Bursary Scheme
The TABF Student Bursary Scheme is managed by the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers (WCTA) which is a City of London Livery Company.
All applications for assistance with the costs of studying for and sitting the ATT and ATT/CTA Tax Pathway examinations are treated in the strictest confidence by a panel of members of WCTA. Grants are awarded at the panel's sole discretion and on such terms as they see fit. The Almoner is responsible for processing all applications; obtaining any further relevant information about the applicants; and submitting his reports to the panel for their decisions. The whole process is generally dealt with by e-mail and grants awarded are paid directly to the training and professional bodies involved. Grants awarded are usually interest-free loan grants which beneficiaries are expected to repay as soon as practical so that more students can be helped in the future.
All applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and a commitment to study for, sit and pass the examinations.
Eligible students should contact the almoner [at] tabf.org.uk (Almoner )who will answer any questions and send you the appropriate application forms.
