Invigilation requirements for the July 2026 ATT exam session

In advance of the July 2026 ATT exam session, here is some information regarding the invigilation requirements.

In order to register for the extraordinary July sitting, candidates will need to email our Education and Examinations Manager, Jude Maidment at [email protected], giving their student registration number and details of which paper(s) they wish to sit.

The closing date for exam entry is 17:00 Friday 17 July

This extraordinary sitting will be only for those who were unsuccessful in the May exam sitting – either because they could not gain access to their exam or had difficulties with the exam meaning they did not achieve a pass. It is not for any other candidates, such as those who deferred their entry from the May 2026 session.

Invigilation requirements will be light touch, and invigilators will be able to invigilate more than one candidate either face to face or over Teams (or similar communication tool) if required. The role of the invigilator is to ensure that candidates do not communicate with each other during the examination and end the exam at the appropriate time (although we will also monitor time submissions at the ATT). Whilst we require a signed document confirming the invigilation, this is limited to ensuring the requirements as set out above and confirmation of the candidates being invigilated.

Any candidate unable to secure invigilation will be advised to contact the ATT as soon as possible at [email protected].
