HMRC online services: planned maintenance work 11-14 October 2013 - POSTPONED

As part of the usual Autumn upgrade, many of HMRC’s systems will be affected during the period. 

Members will note that in many cases, eg for PAYE RTI, submissions still can be made, but no acknowledgment will be sent until after the maintenance has been completed. Some services, such as the VAT registration service, will be interrupted. Full details are available on the HMRC website.

HMRC have sent the following announcement regarding planned maintenance work to HMRC's online services:

'HMRC introduces major upgrades to its online services twice a year. These ensure that our systems stay in line with legislation, take advantage of the latest technology and reduce costs.

Please be advised that from 6:00am on 11 October 2013 to 6:00am on 14 October 2013 most of our online services will be upgraded and undergo planned maintenance. As such, some of our online services will be unavailable during this period.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
