HMRC Local Groups

The local Working Together groups hold meetings two or three times a year. They meet across the UK.

The meetings provide an opportunity for a free exchange of views between tax and VAT advisers and HMRC on the way the tax system operates. The meetings have an agenda to make sure they're productive, but they are also open and informal. Everything is up for discussion in a positive environment.

Some groups hold large meetings that are open to all agents, but normally the main professional bodies will nominate representatives to attend. The local Working Together groups are listed below. If you would like to be involved in a local Working Together group please contact us stating where you are based and in which group you are interested. The minutes of these meetings are also available.
