Working Together - CT Online error code 1606

A number of Working Together agents have made contact regarding an error code 1606 received when trying to submit a CT return online. The abridged answer given by the Online Services helpdesk this morning is:

'The Company registration number in the accounts does not match that on the CT600 (it must match exactly). The remedy may be to omit say a leading 0, a space or character, but they must match exactly.'

We have received agent confirmation that this solution works.
