In today's world of fierce competition for jobs, good business and finance knowledge combined with practical business skills is highly valued by employers.
ATT's Higher Apprenticeship in Tax will help trainees gain essential knowledge and skills in finance, tax and business. Apprentices earn while they learn, gain relevant work experience and will receive a recognised qualification.
What is a higher apprenticeship?
A higher apprenticeship is a workplace training programme. It includes a combination of on-the-job training and classroom learning. Apprentices earn a salary and gain real work experience, whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Higher apprenticeships are designed by employers and professional bodies to help develop higher skill levels, and include qualifications at a level equivalent to the first stages of higher education.
Who is it for?
Apprentices need to be committed, motivated, enthusiastic and reliable, with a 'can-do' attitude.
The tax pathway of the Professional Services Higher Apprenticeship covers the ATT qualification and it provides a work-based route for young people and adults to highly skilled careers in tax. It is available to anyone aged 16 and over living in England with good literacy, numeracy skills and not in full-time eduation. Some employers have their own requirements for particular roles.
