The message from HMRC states:
Following the success of the 30 June event at Chelsea Football Club, HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) will be hosting another exhibition for software vendors to showcase the products and services they’ve developed to support the online filing of Company Tax Returns using the new iXBRL standard for accounts and computations.
The exhibition will be held on:
Wednesday 15 September 2010 at Hampden Park Stadium, Letherby Drive, Glasgow, G42 9BA from 09.30 to 17.00.
The event is free and open to all.
The exhibition will feature Corporation Tax computations and filing solutions, conversion tools, tagging services and accounts production software.
Many organisations will already be familiar with the new Corporation Tax online requirements which come into effect next year and will want to go straight to the exhibition to see the wide variety of iXBRL solutions on offer. For those new to the subject, HMRC will be offering background presentations on iXBRL and Corporation Tax Online at 10.00 and 13.00 - before they visit the exhibition.
You don't have to register formally but to help us gauge the expected number of visitors and how many people are interested in attending one of the presentations, please telephone the bookings team on 0845 603 2691.You'll also be asked whether you're representing a Corporation Tax paying business or a professional practice - no other details will be required.
HMRC is planning to host a third exhibition later in the autumn, which is likely to be in the Midlands. Further details will be provided once the date and venue have been confirmed.
