From 1 January 2011 Members of the ATT who have obtained 10 years' membership are able to apply to become Fellows of the ATT using the post nominals ATT(Fellow) and the title Taxation Technician (Fellow).
Please note the following:
1. Applicants must have 10 years' continuous membership or 10 years' or more in total with one voluntary break. If applicants have a lapse in membership, they are required to enclose a covering letter explaining why their membership lapsed.
2. Applicants must have completed two years' worth of CPD immediately prior to their application being made which meets the ATT's CPD requirements and they must submit their CPD records with their application.
3. Applicants should write in no more than 150 words brief details of their tax career to date.
4. In addition to their normal subscription, the entrance fee is £40, and applicants only have to pay this sum with their application. A Fellowship subscription is only paid in the year following their admission to Fellowship (eg apply in January 2012 and pay the entrance fee of £40). For 2013 they will pay a Fellowship subscription which will be £15 above the normal subscription.
