The firm of which our Deputy President, Stuart McKinnon, was a partner merged with the Newcastle office of Baker Tilly on 3 October 2011. As members will be aware Baker Tilly UK Audit LLP is our Auditor. As a consequence of the merger our Auditor believes that a conflict of interests potentially exists and therefore, to avoid any doubt, on 13 October resigned as our Auditor. There are no other circumstances for the resignation and the ATT and Baker Tilly UK Audit LLP remain on good terms.
Members will be informed of the new Auditor in due course.
